Keys to Health. Everyone wants a key because keys open doors. Things are just beyond the door if I only had a key, I could have …. And this is true. With a key you have the power to open doors. Doors that are closed and inaccessible become open and available wh,en we have a key. Everything beyond the door also becomes available. The following are keys that you have to have to open the doors to health, the greatest treasure in life. So let’s get started.
Key #1: Worthiness. Worthiness is the principal thing, or the master-key to health. If you don’t think you are worthy of having and maintaining health, then you won’t. Worthiness has deep roots, drawing from sources that we aren’t even aware of. One example can be the woman who keeps choosing the wrong relationships. Partly it’s her worthiness factor that keeps her in this cycle. If she can change her perception, she can change her reality. Her job would be to constantly reinforce her worth to herself. This is work. Not just some glib or flippant thing that we say to ourselves. It takes gut wrenching honesty and consistency to achieve a new state of worthiness.
The first essential oil that can be of assistance in our quest for worthiness is frankincense. Frankincense’s message is unconditional forgiveness. No matter what we have done, no matter what we have believed about ourselves, frankincense is the key to reestablishing worth in our soul and spirit, that will reflect in our body in time if we allow it’s healing essence to infiltrate all levels of our being.
To make sure it reaches all levels of our being, we can start with applying it to our skin (physical level), inhaling it (spiritual level), take the bottle with the lid off and move it through our auric field (soul level), and put a drop of it under your tongue which will affect the (emotional level). Using affirmations is also another method of application that serves the highest level of our being. Say “I am worthy.” “I am worthy of the best life has to offer.” Apply frankincense to Bladder 23 accupressure point, use the affirmation and say it outloud, “I am worthy”. Bladder 23 accupressure point is on your back by the spine, midway down the spine by your waist, about 1″ out from the spine on each side. You don’t have to be super exact, in fact, just use all your fingers to massage in that area and you will be on the spot.
One word of caution here is that if you are using any brand of essential oils other than Young Living, then I don’t recommend you use it internally. Young Living is a safe brand to use internally as each batch is tested and retested for purity and Dr. Gary Young has been known to throw out essential oils if they were not up to the highest standard. I have been in Young Living as a distributor for 15 years and have NEVER had an essential oil from this company that was not of the highest quality. This is why these essential oils from Young Living perform so well.
Key #2: I can do it. You have to believe that you can effect change in your life. That you have the power to make changes. You don’t want to be waiting around for someone to make changes for you because they are busy with their own changes. It is up to you to have the burst of energy mentally to surge forward. You might say, I don’t have any energy. Well, you do in your thoughts. Thoughts make all your future happen. What you believe will come to pass, so believe in the best for yourself and that you have the power to make changes.
An essential oil that promotes positive change is: JOY. The essential oil of Joy’s message is balance, harmony and self-love. When you are balanced and harmonious and love yourself (love the life that God has given to you), you can move forward in belief, knowing that you have the power to change your life.
Use all the methods described in Key #1. The accupressure point to use for this belief in having the power to make positive change – I can do it is Gallbladder #30. This point is on the posterior top of the leg bone on each side – in the butt area. Use the oil of Joy, massage it in in this area, while saying “I can do it. I have the power to change.”
Key #3. I have the zest, energy and vitality within. Ok, so I know you are tired, but realize that this is a state of mind. Maybe you are (more accurately described) – bored. When we have something to look forward to, we become energized. When you realize that you have the power to change your life, you become energized and excited. This comes from within. We’ve all seen how our dads, or brothers, can drag themselves through the day, but when it’s hunting season, they are bright and cheerful, ready to go at 4 am. Or maybe your dad is a sports guy. He can drag around the house for weeks, but if his favorite team comes to town, excitement awakens him. We’ve all seen how this works within each one of us. So not only do we have the power to change, but when we really understand this, then we will also find the energy to change.
An essential oil that will help us to move forward with zest and energy is: Valor. Valor is empowering and balancing. Valor imparts the message that I am ok. Who I am is ok. I am competent and I am nourished and supported. I am authentically myself and that is ok.
The accupressure point for moving forward with zest and vitality is Stomach 36. This point is 23 inches below the lower outside edge of the kneepads, in the leg bone notch (tibia). Using the oil of Valor, massage that area, while saying outloud “I have zest, energy and vitality within”.
Key #4. I have a purpose. People are searching for there purpose all over the world. Why am I here? What is my job or service to mankind. Is this all a big joke? No, you ARE here for a purpose and that purpose is growth and opportunity. We didn’t come here to suffer. We didn’t come to earth to be hurt or ridiculed. We came to earth for the glorious experience of life. We all do different things, but it’s for the same purpose – the experience of living. You live your life one way, and experience life. I am living my life another way, and experiencing life. Life given from God. God is the creator and He didn’t make any junk. So you DO have a purpose and that is to experience life in the fullest measure. What are we waiting for? Life abounds around us, let it abound within us also.
An essential oil that helps us remember that we do have a purpose is: Panaway. Panaway’s message is flowing with life while being comfortable and feeling loved. It helps us feel that we fit-in. It helps us remember that we are not here to suffer.
The accupressure point for this key #4 is Heart 7. This accupressure point is on the palm side of your wrist. Look at your palm by turning your palm toward you. On the little finger side, at the tranverse of the wrist, where all the wrist wrinkles are, at the edge – that’s the point. Use all your fingers to massage in Panaway while saying “I am here for a purpose”.
Key #5. It’s all worth it. Life is worth it. Any effort I am expending is worth it. It is worth it to grow. Every kindness, every act of service is worth it. Everything adds to our experience. Even the hard things are worth it. If we never open ourselves to love, we will not be hurt, but we will miss the expansive joy that is in our hearts when we have truly loved. When loss happens it shows us how much we did love. Sometimes we think, I wonder how much love I really have, and then loss shows that to us. None of us want to experience loss, but loss will happen, anyway. Even through loss, it is worth it to experience all things coming our way. It’s all worth it because this life is not the only experience we will ever have. There is all of eternity awaiting and whatever we find in our experience here cannot help but add to future experiences. So there is truly never any loss, just a pause in time.
An essential oil that will help us in our endeavor to feel that life is worth it is: Peppermint. Peppermint’s message helps us to look forward with freshness knowing we are supported in our forward thinking.
The accupressure point for this Key#5 is K27. These points are on both sides of the chest, right below the collarbone, close in to the breastbone. You will feel a little depression right below the collarbones. Massage peppermint in this area while saying outloud “It is all worth while. It is all worth it. Life is worthwhile.”
To simplify and wrap up all the above, we have…
5 keys to health utilizing 5 Essential oils.
Key #1. (The Master-Key.) I am worthy. I believe I am worthy. FRANKINCENSE
Key #2. I have the power to change my life. I believe I am powerful. JOY
Key #3. I have the energy, zest and vitality within. I believe I have the energy I need to change my reality. VALOR
Key #4. I have purpose in my life. I believe there is something for me to be doing and achieving. I am here for a purpose. PANAWAY
Key #5. It’s all worth it. What I am doing and being is worth my while. My existence here is leading to more and more. PEPPERMINT
AND …
Five methods of application, reaching all levels of our being. Feel free to access all levels through the methods below using the essential oil chosen for each key.
1. Application to skin (physical level)
2. Under the tongue (emotional level)
3. In the Aura – or energetic field around the body (soul)
4. Inhalation (spirit)
5. Affirmations while holding accupressure points (physical + highest level of our being, the realm of the angels and guides).
Life abounds around us, let it abound within us also.
Next blog: 25 Vital Essential Oils – Systematic functions
Pure essential oils carry within them the divine essence of life. Pure they come – unadulterated from the source of life, seeds. Seeds contain the blueprints for life. The seed bursting open conveys its information to the emerging plant with specificity, detailed in each function, exquisite in its manifestation. A beautiful representation of the power contained, reserved, and waiting for the moment of its presentation to the world, all from a lowly, often dismissed seed. Within a seed great mysteries are contained.
From this seed a plant grows and within the plant its life blood flows, a divine spark, tended by man, but not given by man for we know that life is given by God. This precious gift of life is contained in the blood of the plant, and translates to us as pure intention. The intention of creation is to speak the language of unconditional love toward all mankind. The essential oils are a whisper from the source of all life that we are all loved. This whispering, speaking softly that we are loved, can be said in various ways. A child needs to hear many times over and over that they are approved of, special, loved and acknowledged. We too need this recognition from above that we matter. Each plant carries within it these messages, pure, sweet and helpful. You can mix the messages. You can dwell upon one message. You can drink in a whole cascade of the messages, but they will always bring you to a state of purer intention, greater health and bliss. We are not worshiping the plant, but rather honoring and revering the Maker of the plant. The purposes of plants are not only for adornment and the joy of beholding them, but within each plant is the language of love, spoken to every culture and region, and clearly understood by every body.
Order is fundamental to life. Without order we have chaos. Chaos is in direct opposition to health. Within the body there is a series of events, a cascading motion toward flow and health. When the flow is interrupted, changed, or halted, disorder and disease emerge, creating distress. Order brings peace. Chaos engages stress. We’ve all heard about the laws of the universe and how those laws cannot be violated. Many, many things have been believed to be immutable and unchangeable down through the centuries, such as “the world is flat”, “if man were meant to fly, he would have been created with wings”, or “if a man travels over 40 miles per hour, he will disintegrate”. Today we know these things are not true. We do not defy gravity, or we will reap the consequences. We cannot leap from a tall building and expect the law of gravity to change for us. We can, however, get in an airplane and work within the laws of gravity. Airflow, uplifts, updrafts, elevation, and atmospheric density increase our appreciation and understanding of gravity. This is also true within the body. We do not defy the laws. We appreciate the unfolding reality that changes and enhances outcomes.
My perception or how I see things, or what I believe, is the force behind the cascading events in my body. It’s back to the old adage, “If you think you can, you can. If you think you can’t, you are still right.” You are the one who chooses your own perceptions. You are the one who can change your own perceptions at will. You are your own healer. And you become your own healer by what you choose to believe about forces beyond your control, about yourself and about your environment.
Essential oils support the thoughts or perceptions that feed and nourish our soul, spirit, our emotions and our body. By using them in the different modalities what we have available to us, we can reach all levels of our being. Healing our interpretation of our environment, our self, and others is the elixir that heals. Essential oils give us the wonderful gift of knowing what we can work on to achieve greater health.
Kinesiology or muscle testing can give us fast accurate information about which essential oil would benefit us. You can use your own intuition to choose the essential oil by just realizing which essential oils you are drawn to the most. Don’t fight with the information, but receive it as a gift that will allow you to know yourself better.
Essential oils, starting as the divine essence of life through the vehicle of the seed carrying within it the messages of unconditional love from our Creator or Source, can be the catalyst that heals our perceptions which in turn heals our bodies. We see how universal laws are not defied, but can be seen in ways we had not considered previously, lifting us to vistas we never thought possible. When order is reestablished through this greater comprehension and knowledge of our self and all that is, we become able to truly heal body, mind and spirit.
This is Part 2 of the 25 Vital Essential Oils, VEO’s, addressing transformation and change.
Sometimes change or transformation is a scary thing. Sometimes we run towards it because we are done with how things have been, and we are anxious for change. Sometimes we hedge and justify. “Things really are OK. I don’t mind it that much.” When what we really are saying is “I’m comfortable now. I know the ropes. I’m managing”. We know that a change would certainly help but is it worth the effort? One perspective that helps us clarify the need for change is – “Will I be happy with this in five years, in 10 years, in 20?”
It’s pretty hard to change when everyone in our circle of influence doesn’t believe we can change and we don’t believe it either. In order to change we have to elevate ourselves, or we have to rise above the noisy tumult surrounding us. We have to decide we are worth it. That we do have what it takes. Joy oil is an oil that will elevate and move our emotions to a higher plane. Thieves essential oil also will uplift our feelings. Frankincense is another essential oil that does a wonderful job of unburdening our spirit. These oils help us move toward change by believing we can change and that change is a possibility.
Another deterrent to change is being our inability to decide what we want. One minute we want change. The next we don’t. Oftentimes we haven’t even decided where we’re going with change. In order to reach a destination, we need to choose a destination. Oils that establish us or give us a firm footing while reaching for change are, cinnamon bark, pine, Grounding, and Valor. If you can’t make up your mind sit with these oils for a while and soak up the information contained in these oils so you can see more clearly where you would like to go.
Every single person on earth has a purpose and a plan. Destined for greatness have we settled for mediocrity? Or is it that the place we occupy is great and we fail to see it’s greatness? Juniper is an oil that helps us to view our purpose with more clarity. Di-Gize also reveals purpose to us. Inhale these oils allowing the information into our brain via the amygdala, the gland responsible for memory among other things. Remembering our dreams and hopes reminds us of old dreams that we may have given up on, but these dreams can be revitalized.
Timeless. Are we timeless? If we are eternal beings, what greater thing could we do than work on the level of soul and spirit? The high frequencies of the essential oils don’t just heal our bodies they heal our emotions and spirits as well. Immupower is an oil that helps us tap into our imagination and see or vision beyond the day to day routine. Rosewood also brings us into a meditative state. Both of these oils can be used during meditation and prayer for an enhanced experience.
So in summary:
For welcoming change: Joy and lemon
For believing change is possible: Joy, Thieves, and frankincense.
For becoming decisive: cinnamon bark, pine, Grounding and Valor.
To see our purpose: juniper and Di-Gize
Envisioning change for our timeless spirit and soul: rosewood and Immupower.
Stay tuned for next week’s blog as we discuss more about the 25 VEO’s (Vital Essential Oils) and how you can put them to work for you!
Out of 139 essential oils available from Young Living, there are 25 Vital Essential Oils that we know will serve you in any situation or circumstance. Of course, we love ALL the oils, but if you will familiarize yourself with these 25 Vital Essential Oils, listed at the bottom of this blog, you can meet any challenge that may arise.
Let me help you make this work. This is the first installment of 12 blogs that will outline the information for this break-through methodology. Now you can empower yourself with understanding, coupled with these 25 essential oils to help with most situations you will come across.
Why would I want to invest in these oils?
- The oils add quality, health and vitality to your life.
- They give you a mirror into yourself.
- They are liquid gold.
- The oils give you the opportunity to share something meaningful with others that enriches your own life and theirs.
They add quality to your life, illuminating all the senses. Who among us hasn’t been thrilled to their soul upon walking into the fragrance of a May tree or the beautiful scent of blooming lilacs in the wind. This touch of aromas from The Creator adds quality to our lives.
They add health. Essential oils have the highest frequency of a natural substance. They far outrun fresh herbs and fresh produce by frequency. Our body naturally vibrates at an average of 62 to 68 mg. hrtz. Essential oils start at 47 mg. hrtz. and go as high as 350 mg. hrtz. Fresh herbs in comparison run between 20-27 mg. hrtz. When you raise your frequency, you raise your level of health.
They add vitality. When your vibrational base is raised, your body experiences a greater degree of available energy.
The oils give you a mirror into yourself. Each oil carries within it a message for you. They are consistent in their messages and it’s a language your body understands. Scientists break this down into chemicals and how they are strung together in certain arrangements. Whatever you call it, the body understands and responds to these chemicals or messages. The body desires these positive influences and beautiful input from essential oils. Depending upon which essential oils you are drawn to or test for, will give you insight into yourself. These beautiful messages show you what you need to be complete in your body, soul and spirit.
They are liquid gold. Who wouldn’t want to hae, especially in this day and age, even a tiny gold nugget? Gold has amazing properties, holding incredible strength even though it’s stretched into a very fine thin wire. Gold is resilently strong. One drop of an essential oil is like liquid gold. Even one drop is precious, representing the sacrifice of many plants. Power, effective and life enhancing are the effects of essential oils.
Essential oils give you something meaningful to share with others. Who doesn’t love to ease another’s suffering? What a joy it is to bring relief to another. So many ways to share this liquid gold. Someone’s just pulled a muscle, sprained an ankle or twisted their knee. Give them a drop of Balsam Fir to soothe and heal the affected area. Add in some Panaway for more benefits. How about a cold, congestion and sinus pressure. Use R.C. on their chest. Have them inhale R.C. Put some drops of Thieves in water and drink the ater. Apply some Purification to the sinus areas, staying away from the eyes, of course.
When you share, you care. This caring can only draw us all together because the greatest healer is Love.

After the Bliss Therapy, he fell asleep deeply, snoring loudly, but continuing to sleep. He woke briefly and said that was amazing. ”I feel so much better, less tension, my head feels better. Only a little bit of a headache on the left side.” Then he fell back into a deep sleep. A few more of the Bliss Therapy ingredients were applied which removed the rest of the head pain. He slept soundly for another 15 minutes before it was time for him to leave. He reports that he continues to feel very well, with no residual discomfort.

This mandala helps the person who struggles with feelings of being a traitor. They really intend to be loyal and true, but it seems to them that through no fault of theirs, they find themselves falling into the trap of betrayal. It could be just the slip of the tongue, such as the giving away of secrets they were sworn to keep, or it could be the seemingly unintentional forgetfulness, like not keeping appointments for example or more serious betrayal issues surfacing such as affairs or infidelity, or disloyalty to a cause or business. This brings them to a feeling of hopelessness as they find themselves repeating this over and over. They are very knowledgeable, but this comes off as a know-it-all attitude and this can alienate people. Because people tend to doubt them, they begin to doubt themselves and then they start feeling dumb and inferior. They often feel like they blew it in life, whether it’s with relationships or business – if only I’d have done this or this differently. This person feels wounded much of the time so they can come off as quite defensive.
The above description is showing the raw naked side of a person’s prosperity issues and all or part of this may apply if this is the mandala that fits your prosperity issues. To learn more about the positive aspects of this mandala, go to the articles about mandalas on www.burdickinstitute.com or email me claudiaburdick@burdickinstitute.com

Can you recognize yourself in this description of the I’m Okay Prosperity Mandala? These would be underlying issues that affect the flow of prosperity in your life.
This person feels excluded, either by their own choice of staying in the background or by put-downs from others early in life that has caused them to feel safer beating a retreat to a more familiar footing. The suppression they have felt from others brings a sort of viciousness out of them because they feel they have to protect themselves and the only way to keep the attackers away is to counter-attack. This person can back bullies off, but it is done in a quiet, mean sort of condescending way. The whole way they cope with people makes them feel defiled. They really don’t want to have to be excluded and vicious, but they feel they must build a wall around themselves. They feel slandered by the littlest insult because their real heart wants to be loved and to love others, but they aren’t perceived this way. This bothers them a lot and makes them jumpy and uncomfortable in crowds and parties. They tend to burn out, not that they can’t cope, but they get tired of coping, and always feeling deficient.
For more information about the I’m Okay Prosperity Mandala, go to www.burdickinstitute.com or email me at claudiaburdick@burdickinstitute.com. The mandalas are made with propriety materials that allow the flow of the vibrations from the gemstones. Mandalas are priced at $59.98, plus shipping and can be ordered on the website.

This mandala is designed to address prosperity challenges that this type of person might face. See if you find yourself in the following description.
I feel like I have blinders on. Many opportunities have seemed to come and gone and I have trouble knowing when to jump on and when to hold back. I often feel that because of some of my decisions, my credibility with people is sorely lacking. I feel that people don’t trust my direction and this hinders me in my pursuits. I feel sometimes like I’m being driven nuts by all the decisions. It’s just too much. There are times when I feel as though I am being belittled which goes back to the issue with my credibility. I can and have then become defensive which doesn’t help me and then I just want to run away and escape. This problem of feeling hurt if I do and hurt if I don’t, keeps me indecisive and then to cover this up, I come off like a know-it-all. The only way I know to win is to be sneaky, but I really feel that I am a victim of circumstance and it’s not really up to me whether I have success or not. Really, I am doing the best I can!

Prosperity Mandalas help us allow, accept and embrace prosperity because they work with the issues that keep us stuck and unable to move forward. There are 10 types of Prosperity Mandalas. Each mandala is designed to address different prosperity issues.
The Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala
The Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala is hand-crafted and designed with proprietary materials utilizing the following gemstones: aquamarine, citrine, emerald, fluorite, moonstone, opal, quartz, turquoise, and topaz. They are constructed in the geometric shape of circles which represents infinity, continuation, and endless life. The mandalas should be cleansed every 3 to 4 days by placing under cold running water for 2 minutes. If the mandalas are clean, they should give years of service and are totally renewable and reuseable.
Messages that emanate from the gemstones of the Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala:
I see compassion and mercy for myself and others.
I feel merciful, able to embrace truth, simplicity and organization in my life.
I am able to change. I am embracing truth. I am strong. I am moving forward and growing. I am outgoing.
This Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala helps a person feel fulfilled and feel that they are doing their best. The mandala allows a person to feel and accept being renowned which gives them an ability to let go of the past. It also brings knowledge to the conscious mind that anything is possible, while edifying and building the person up and allows them to accept the knowledge of their own virtue.
Usually we can’t see ourselves in the positive so the following explanation is given because we often recognize ourselves on the negative flip side. This mandala addresses the prosperity challenge of feeling like one is always crying on the inside. When you are crying on the inside, resentment starts to build. When resentment is being harbored this can lead to making unwise decisions which when played out may bring up raging and a feeling of boiling on the inside. Other issues that the Satisfaction Mandala addresses are feelings of unworthiness (I’m just not good enough), feeling stuck and boxed in (I can’t seem to get out of these situations and circumstances) , and feeling deserted and helpless (Why does this stuff always happen to me?). Feelings of self-consciousness can hinder us from giving our best and being unable to give our best can make us feel inadequate, vulnerable and self-conscious.
The Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala is available from www.burdickinstitute.com or you can email me at claudiaburdick@burdickinstitute.com. The cost of the Satisfaction Prosperity Mandala is $55 plus $5 shipping.

We all want to be prosperous. To be prosperous we need to have love, joy and peace along with all the other attributes of success which are humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness, value, unity, and faith. If we define our success by money only, we can be one of the very poorest people while sustaining a financially heavy lifestyle.
Right away when thinking of success, we think of money. Money is something we all want more of and money seems to be the very thing that is so elusive and fleeting, coming and going. Money comes to us according to The Secret when we are attracting it. I like to think of it as an attractive handsome man. This man does not have to work at all to attract people, both men and women. He, himself, is the attraction. I believe the same is true for wealth. When we have the attributes of prosperity – love, joy, etc., – then the by-product of prosperity – money – will just naturally flow our way.
The prosperity mandalas are designed to attract prosperity because they address the areas of our lives where we have weaknesses, the areas where prosperity just drops through like we are using a sieve to gather it. We’ve all had times when we were so close to achieving what we wanted, but it all just melted away, disappeared sort of mysteriously. It really was not a mystery though; it was that we had a weakness or a lack that tripped us up. This lack we have within ourselves has “shot ourselves in the foot” so to speak. This is not some cruel joke of the universe, but rather it’s a glorious opportunity to finally see where our weaknesses lie. It’s a wonderful mirror that can teach us more about ourselves so we can know the joy of overcoming something that may have been tripping us up for decades and maybe even our whole life.
There are ten prosperity mandalas and in the coming ten days we will be discussing the attributes and information for each one. Each Mandala is carefully hand-crafted and designed using gemstones that vibrationally match the desireable attributes for each type, whether your type is the Divine Prosperity Mandala or the Inspired Prosperity Mandala or any of the other eight Prosperity Mandalas. Stay tuned. You will recognize yourself. The mandalas can be purchased through our website www.burdickinstitute.com or you can email us at claudiaburdick@burdickinstitute.com, or call us at 406-439-0230. Purchase price of each Mandala is $55 plus a shipping charge of $5.00. Major credit cards are accepted on the website, or you can send a check to Burdick Institute, LLC., 901 N. Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601.
