In our shoulders for instance, the storage room of enjoyment, applause, and ectasy or the knowledge that life works for me, is located. This is accessed when someone rubs our shoulders and we feel the comfort and love from the person massaging our shoulders, but we can also feel other things that might have been stored in that storage room. Instead of storing enjoyment, which is the right thing to store, we may also find some misery such as feeling forsaken, and obstructed.
The first little burst of enjoyment we feel when someone rubs our shoulders can often give way to pain and misery as the manipulating of this area continues and we find ourselves sighing and even groaning with the releasing of the mental poisons that we have stored away.
It’s interesting that in the model of the temple, the storage rooms were located along the outside edges of the temple and there was only one door that allowed entrance into these areas. Likewise in our body, these storage rooms are located on the outside of our body – they are not internal like the energy meridians or chakras. They can be easily accessed and cleansed, but like our model of the temple, you are the one that opens the door and allows the cleansing. You are also the one that can deny the cleansing and renewal.
The one door is accessed in our body through our pupils. This is the avenue for storage. How we perceive the situation through love or hate determines what will get stored. If we perceive through the eyes of love, we will enjoy the benefits of kindness, and cheer, but if we perceive through the eyes of hate, we will experience distress and agitation and loneliness through the things we choose to keep. So it’s important to remember when we are going through any experience or situation to keep our focus on love so that we won’t have to cleanse out things we have inadvertently and unknowingly admitted through the lower emotion of hate and pain.
