Why dis-ease becomes chronic?

The phone rings and we feel annoyed. Someone comes to the door and interrupts us from our tasks that we feel are so important that we become rude. We have a sink of dirty dishes and a pile of laundry to do and we feel put upon.
Let’s just flip those thoughts around. The phone rings and we smile at the opportunity coming our way. Someone comes to visit and we feel blessed that someone cares. We have lots of chores to do but we know that by doing those chores we have an opportunity to say I love you. We could even tuck a little note into the laundry telling someone how much they are appreciated. How about seeing those dishes sparkling clean in the cupboard from a job well done?
Hearing myself thinking and finding ways to rearrange or enhance my thinking is the way towards a happier body. A happier body in turn brings happier thoughts and around and around it goes until that old chronic dis-ease and aching just fade away.
